AREA FORUM/WARD GRANTS
Matter for Consideration:
To consider applications under the Area Forum/Ward Grants Schemes.
Information:
The Council's delegated budgets scheme allocates budgets of £20,000 to each Ward and the Area Forums have been awarded budgets equivalent to £7,500 per ward covered for the financial year 2013/2014. The funding for either scheme can be spent on supplementing funding public services, for the benefit of the local community.

The Gateway Area Forum has requested:
(i)£5,000 to Blackpool FC Premier League Kicks Project as a donation towards the purchase of sports equipment, sports venue costs and coaching staff costs.
(ii)£2,000 to Buchannan Court Residents Association as a donation towards remedial works to lift and relay all the kerbs around the perimeter of Raikes Parade grass area.

Councillors Evans and Stansfield of Stanley Ward have requested £4,600 for the purchase and installation of 2 alley gates at Harold Road, to include £275 advertising costs.
